Mantralaya is well connected to major cities in South India. Here is how to reach the Sri Raghavendra Swamy temple by train, road and air.
By Train
The nearest railway station is Mantralayam Road (station code MALM), about 16 km from the temple. It lies on the main line and is served by many trains. From the station, cabs and shared autos are available round the clock to the temple town.
By Road / Bus
- From Hyderabad: approximately 250 km (about 5–6 hours) via Raichur
- From Bengaluru, Kurnool, Raichur and other cities: regular buses and private services operate to Mantralaya
- APSRTC, TSRTC and private operators run buses to the temple town
By Air
The nearest airport is Kurnool (Orvakal) airport, about 120 km away. For wider connectivity, Hyderabad international airport is the most convenient, from where you can continue by road or train.
Getting Around Mantralaya
The temple town is compact and most accommodation is within walking distance of the temple. Autos are available for the railway station and the Tungabhadra bathing ghats.
