Mantralaya has plentiful accommodation, most of it managed by the Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt. With careful planning you can stay comfortably close to the temple.
Mutt Accommodation
The mutt manages a large number of rooms — over a thousand in total. Popular options include Sarvajna Mandir and Shanti Niwas, with budget-friendly rooms roughly in the ₹200–₹1,000 range depending on type.
- Rooms can typically be booked online up to 30 days in advance
- For security reasons, rooms are usually allotted to two or more people
- AC and non-AC options are available at different tariffs
- Book early during weekends, Thursdays and the Aradhana period
Private Hotels & Lodges
Several private hotels and lodges operate in and around the temple town for those who prefer them or when mutt rooms are full, across a range of budgets.

Official room booking is done through the mutt’s Online Services on srsmatha.org. During the Aradhana festival, demand is very high — reserve as early as possible.
