Mantralaya Darshan Timings & Complete Guide

Planning darshan at Mantralaya? Here are the general Sri Raghavendra Swamy temple timings and practical tips to make your visit smooth. Timings can change on festival days, so always confirm on the official website before you travel.

Mantralaya Temple Timings

  • Morning darshan: around 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
  • Evening darshan: around 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM
  • Open all seven days of the week

General darshan of the Moola Brindavana is free of cost for all devotees.

How Long Does Darshan Take?

On regular weekdays, darshan usually takes about 20–30 minutes. On weekends, Thursdays (special to Rayaru) and festival days it can take 1–2 hours or more, so plan accordingly.

Best Time to Visit

Early morning darshan is calm and less crowded. Thursdays and the annual Aradhana are the most spiritually significant but also the busiest. The cooler months (roughly November to February) are the most comfortable for travel.

Darshan Tips

  • Reach early to avoid long queues, especially on weekends
  • Follow the dress code and temple rules with respect
  • Carry minimal belongings; mobile/photography rules apply inside
  • Keep water and essentials for the queue in warmer months
  • Confirm any seva timings separately, as they differ from general darshan
